"There is something sinister, something quite biographical about what I do—but that part is for me. It’s my personal business. I think there is a lot of romance, melancholy. There’s a sadness to it, but there’s romance in sadness. I suppose I am a very melancholy person."

Idle youth, enslaved to everything; by being too sensitive I have wasted my life.
- Arthur Rimbaud

Urge to come to terms with the "Outside,"
by absorbing, interiorizing it. I won't come out,
you must come in to me. Into my womb-garden
where I peer out. Where I can construct a universe
within the skull, to rival the real.
- Jim Morrison

And Later my macabre joy sours and I'm weeping for myself, unable to find solace in any of this, crying out, sobbing "I just want to be loved," cursing the earth and everything I have been taught: principles, distinctions, choices, morals, compromises, knowledge, unity, prayer - all of it was wrong, without any final purpose. All it came down to was: die or adapt. I imagine my own vacant face, the disembodied voice coming from its mouth: these are terrible times.
- American Psycho, Bret Easton Ellis

5 missed calls, 4 messages displayed on rt's phone when i got up to see it. how's having someone else's phone ring nonstop at 8.30am in the morning? it's a non-school day! i want to have my sleep, now i'm all up and awake, browsing pictures on fb and checking out twitter and all.

cand's comments on twitter on my nonexistent bro's pictures with some really really HOT models. the abs all well defined, tall strong build, yummy faces. if only i was on talking terms with my bro, i'll definitely ask him who all those people are! can you imagine, ME with the HOT models. hHAHAHAHAHA. as in, just sitting and chilling. oh myyyyy. shudder. LOL.

i really hope to patch things up with my bro, whatever that had gone wrong. i have to, my only same-blood-same-parents brother. i dont want to go home and see a sour face or try to figure out what his f problem is. i dont get how other siblings can get along so well but mine's just.. what? i've got a bro?

ok, enough morning whine for now. i'm going to try to get back to sleep.

oh and before that, should i go to a friend's party tonight or fishing with the folks?

You are not here merely to make a living. You are here in order to enable the world to live more amply, with greater vision, with a finer spirit of hope and achievement. You are here to enrich the world, and you impoverish yourself if you forget the errand.

"The longer i live, the more i realize the impact of attitude on life. attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, education, money; than circumstance, than failure; than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. we cannot change our past. We cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me, and 90% of how i react to it. And it is with you... we are in charge of our attitudes."

“To live in this world, you must be able to do three things: to love what is mortal; to hold it against your bones knowing your own life depends on it; and, when the time comes to let it go, to let it go.”

Said by my best friend to my prospective boyfriend:

"You know those gray, windy days that get you down? Know how the clouds part and the sun shines warm and golden on your face for a few minutes before disappearing into the clouds again? Renata is like that. If you want to hold on to her, you gotta be really special."

I cried, a little bit.

To truly love something, you must first give it a chance to fail. If it survives, it is going to be stronger than ever. Distance is pure proof of this, and forever we will love if we survive.
- Author Unknown

Distance doesn't matter if you really love the person, what matters most is your honesty and trust for that relationship to work out.
